Montpelier, VT -  (June 13, 2018)  The National Life Group Foundation has donated $50,000 to Communities in Schools Dallas Region to support the agency’s mission to help children stay in school.

The money given to Communities in Schools Dallas Region will fund academic and support staff for at-risk students during the 2018-2019 academic school year. More than 63,000 students will have access to help on their campus because of the contribution.

In addition to financial support through its Foundation, National Life has an annual giving tree in its Texas offices at the holidays so that company employees can give clothing and toys to vulnerable children identified by Communities in Schools Dallas Region.

“As the population of the Dallas area grows, so do the issues that students face,” said Foundation President Beth Rusnock. “We’re impressed with the work CISDR does to help students, educators and families and are pleased to be able to support them with this donation.”

National Life Group has a campus in Addison, Texas. The National Life Group Foundation helps build healthy and vital communities by supporting organizations and initiatives that make a positive difference.
